Select area
An area can be selected in the following views:
- Technical view
- Fabric View
- Shape View
Select an area:
- The cursor functions are switched off.
- A drawing tool is selected.

- Select the starting point of the area with the cursor and press the left mouse button.

- Hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor to the end point of the area.

- Release the left mouse button at the end point of the selected area.
The selected area is marked as follows:
- Red frame in the technical view
- Lighter and with running frame in the Shape View and in the fabric views Symbol Presentation, Color Presentation without needle action and Symbol Presentation.
- Running frame in the fabric views Module Color Presentation and Symbol Presentation in Module Color Presentation
The existing selection is zoomed in if the Ctrl key is pressed during the new selection.
The existing selection is zoomed out if the Ctrl and Alt keys are pressed during the new selection. The selection is zoomed out by the overlapping area.
