Import pictures
A picture with the formats BMP, TIF or PCX can be transferred to a pattern, a pattern element or a shape, whereby each pixel is allocated exactly one stitch.
Picture Import with its dialog boxes of the steps 1 to 4 is available for this purpose. Existing default settings or the user's own settings are used for the knitting technique. It is possible to switch between the step at any time.
The picture import is started in the menu with the following functions:
- function to generate a new pattern or a shape
- function to generate a new pattern element
The individual steps of the picture importation offer the following possibilities:
- Step 1 (Picture Selection): Save picture with its settings (machine and knitting technique)
- Step 2 (color selection): Color reduction, color jacquard over full width with default setting (uniform back and minimum number of colors) or with the saved setting, Intarsia without module, with module from default setting or with the saved setting, shape
- Step 3 (jacquard): Color jacquard over full width with different backs and minimum or continuous number of colors in the entire pattern or in grouped areas
- Step 3 (Structure / Intarsia) Single-color structure, Intarsia with and without structures
- Step 4 (Module Positioning): colored structures according to the setting in Step 2 (Structure / Intarsia), whereby the filling in of the modules can be set differently and checked in advance
