Module positioning in Step 4

In the Step 4 dialog box a module greater than one stitch positioned in the color is shown in the form of grid lines in the picture display.
During positioning, it can be specified, whether the module is filled-in within a grid (then is is positioned exactly next to and above each other) and, whether or not the color edge may be overwritten in the process.

Fill a color area with a cable stitch module, whereby the cable stitches are exactly arranged and the color is not to be overwritten:

  1. The cable module of a target color was allocated in the Step 3: Structure / Intarsia dialog box.
  2. The Step 4: Module positioning is open.

    Select the checkbox in the Grid column for the target color.

    Set the Free option field in the Selvedge column.

    Click on the Recalculate module positions button.
  1. The result is shown updated in the picture view.

The pattern or pattern element can be generated with the Finish button. It is also possible to switch back into Stage 3 for this purpose. The set module positioning is retained in the process.
