Modified machine designations for pattern design

With pattern design, the machine designation is used in the file name of the Sintral and the setup, as well as in comments line 1 in the Sintral and within the mdv file on the M1plus.
Up until now the same machine designations were used for machines with different needle bed widths ( CMS330TC-KW and CMS340TC-KW).
From version V 2.1 (M1) and version V7.10 (SIRIX) on a unique machine designation with reference to the needle bed width was introduced.
The -KW extention of the machine designations relevant for the pattern design are eliminated for knit and wear® and multi gauge® machines. The machine types CMS340TC and CMS340TC-L, CMS330TC and CMS330TC-L and CMS320TC get additionally the .2 gauges at the gauges selection boxes of the M1plus and SIRIX.
However, the machine designations CMS340TC-KW and CMS330TC-KW previously used for pattern design will be retained for compatibility reasons and can continue to be used as they have up until now.

Do not use the types CMS340TC-KW and CMS330TC-KW for new patterns.

The following table serves as an overview of the use of machine designations for pattern design.
