Value

For the global pattern parameters you can specify either the NP-value or the mm value for the stitch length in this column. This value is applied and automatically converted into the other value when generating a new pattern.
The display is switched over from the NP-value to the mm value with the Display mm value function from the context menu of the stitch length table.
NP or mm is displayed accordingly in the header line.
In the NP column the gauge selected when generating the pattern is displayed. The gauge is visible in the header line of this column. The needle chuck gauge is shown in parentheses behind the gauge display. For a pattern, the selected gauge and needle hook gauge are shown on a red background so that they can be identified immediately when all gauges from the context menu are displayed with the Display all gauges function.

NP Change value:

With a module, an entry that has been transferred from GlobalParameters.mdv can not be changed. However, you can add and edit your own entries.

    Click within the field next to the value to be changed.
  1. The field is shown with a border.

    Enter the new value.
  1. The old value is automatically overwritten.

If you have not clicked next to the value, the field is not shown with a border. Instead, a flashing vertical line is visible in the field. In this case, you must first delete the old value with the Backspace key and/or the Del key before entering the new value.
