MSEC Ind
An index for the speed value can be specified. The allocation via the index has the advantage that when the value is changed on the machine, it only needs to be changed once and this change becomes effective in all rows to which the index is allocated. With direct allocation of the value, it would have to be changed in each row.
Instead of a value you can also enter a ?. In this case, the assignment of the index occurs automatically by the Technical processing. In the process the free indices are allocated consecutively in ascending order. In the case of invalid indices, the index is also allocated by Technical Processing. Invalid indices are the values 10 to 99.
The values of the entries that have an MSEC index are automatically entered in the setup file when generating the knitting program (Sintral). If too many MSEC indices are allocated, a corresponding error message is output during Technical Processing and the entries after 9 MSEC indices are written to the knitting program (Sintral) as a direct value.
Entering an index:
With a module, an entry that has been transferred from GlobalParameters.mdv can not be changed. However, you can add and edit your own entries.
With entries used in the pattern, different values cannot be allocated the same index.
- The Reference command is selected in the Type column.
- 1
- Click next to the value to be changed or next to the question mark inside the field of the MSEC-Ind column.
- The field is shown with a border.
- 2
- Enter the new value.
- The old value or the question mark is automatically overwritten.
If you have not clicked next to the value or the question mark, the field is not shown with a border. Instead, a flashing vertical line is visible in the field. In this case, you must first delete the old value with the Backspace key
and/or the Del key before entering the new value.
