General shape data

Make the following settings in the General shape data section:

Element	Meaning
List field Style	List field for selecting a shape type. : Select the Default entry for a fully fashion shape and select the corresponding k&w entry for a k&w shape. By making a selection the lines are automatically allocated the correct default attributes, e.g. for narrowing.
Display field Date created	The date of creation is displayed.
Input field Comment	Enter text.
List field Input Format	List field for selecting the input format for the shape lines. Lines: Shape lines are described as a length unit. Stitches: Shape lines are described as a stitch. Steps: Shape lines are described as a grid. : You can change the input format at a later time with the Convert and Save As... function in the File menu.
List field Input Format	List field for the selection of the length unit mm or inch as the input format (with Lines input format) or as the display format (with the Stitches or Steps input format). The list field is only available when no lines are present in the tables. : The format cannot be changed later.
Input fields Stitch Density	The entered values in mm/inch are converted to stitch values in the line tables via the stitch density. : The determined stitch density for the shape patterns for Fully Fashion located in the shape directory Stoll\M1plus\<Version>\Form is already saved with the shape.
	Enter the horizontal number of stitches in 100 mm or 4 inches.
	Enter the vertical number of stitches in 100 mm or 4 inches.
k&w all needles:	Use all needles for k&w. : Machines with additional beds (CMS T) With the checkbox deactivated, k&w will be knit in 1x1 technique.
