Save DXF file as

Using this dialog box, you save a DXF file under a new name. This dialog box is the Windows standard dialog box for the Open function with additional functions. The dialog box is opened by the Save as function in the File menu.

Make the following settings in this dialog box:

Element	Meaning
Save list field	Select directory in which the DXF file is saved.
Display field	Available files in the selected directory are displayed. Notice: The selection of the directory remains valid until the dialog box is called up again.
File name input field	Enter new file name. Notice: The selection remains valid until the dialog box is called up again.
File type list field	Select file type.
Checkbox Save multiple pieces in separate files	If the DXF file contains several pieces: If the checkbox is activated, each shape is saved in it's own file. The files retain their previous names and a -1, -2 is added at the end. If the checkbox is deactivated, all shapes in a DXF file are saved in a single file.
Open button	Save DXF file under the new name. The dialog box is closed.
Cancel button	Close dialog box without saving the file under a new name.
