k&w - Working with knit and wear
In the M1plus, the following options for knit and wear (k&w) are available:
- Generate the shapes required for an article (file type shv or shp) in the Shape editor.
- Link the k&w shape (file type kaw or shk) with an existing k&w pattern so that the k&w shape is automatically converted to the shape and so that the shape can be positioned on the pattern.
Use the function in the menu to put together the shapes (file type shv or shp) required for the article or to position a k&w shape (file type kaw). - Allocate the knitting cycles and edit the shape before cutting out.
For this purpose, use the Shape Attributes toolbar in the shape view of the k&w pattern. - Edit or generate the knitting cycles in the k&w Arrangement Editor.
- Put together the shapes required for the article (file type shv or shp) for a k&w shape (file type kaw) in the Shapewizard program, and set them to automatically determine the knitting cycles and check for freedom from errors.
