Generate shapes (ShapeSizer k&w)

Make further settings for the selected shape and generate the shapes on this page of the ShapeSizer.

Call up this page via the Measure table page.

On this page the following settings are made:

Open shapes in the Shape Editor: buttons

Generate or edit shapes (*.shp) individually in the Shape Editor.

Display field
The current difference in length between sleeve and body:

The difference in length between sleeve and body is displayed in percent.

Short sleeve/short body

The length compensation between the sleeve and body is generated by knitting with residual yarn.
Length compensation between sleeve and body will be done by suspension.
: Activate the checkbox if the length difference between the sleeve and body is greater than 20 %.

Optimized length compensation of body/sleeve

Optimize the running time alternating the knitting of the sleeve and the body.

: Not available if Short sleeve/short body is active.

Calculate length compensation according to settings (per layer)

The difference in length will be compensated by suspending rows in the defined ratio.
The displayed ratio refers to the corresponding layer.
The difference in length will be compensated automatically.

Entry fields for the length compensation

 

Rows without length compensation before the sleeve body connection

Define the number of rows below the area of the sleeve-body connection to be knitted without suspending.

Suspending Rows

Enter the number of suspending rows for the length compensation.

Original Rows

Enter the number of knitting rows in the pattern.

Position the shape element selected under Open shapes in the shape editor on the active pattern.

Re-generate shapes...

Generate shapes according to the specifications of the actual column in the measure table.

Restore Stoll standard.

Cancel changes and reset to Stoll standard.

Save as default...

Save the actual setting as a standard ShapeSizer file.

Save As...

Save ShapeSizer file.

Determine the k&w Arrangements for the generated shapes.
You can open the k&w shape (*.kaw) and position it on the basic pattern.
