Context menu (k&w Arrangement Editor)

Some functions can be called up via a context menu. Click on the display for technical rows with the right mouse button.

The following menus and functions are contained in the context menu of the display for additional rows and special knitting rows and are displayed as icons in the display for technical rows:

Knit

The settings for the knitting function can be adapted via an additional context menu. Click on a corresponding knitting area with the right mouse button.

The following functions are contained in the context menu of the knitting area:
- Knitting
- Do not knit
- Do not knit additional row
- Additional row
- Binding

Narrowing

Optional Narrowing

If a shape step is present in the defined area, narrowing is performed on the selected knitting layer in the selected area.

1-Needle Forced Narrowing

Narrowing by one needle is performed on the selected knitting layer in the selected area.

2-Needle Forced Narrowing

Narrowing by two needles is performed on the selected knitting layer in the selected area.

3-Needle Forced Narrowing

Narrowing by three needles is performed on the selected knitting layer in the selected area.

4-Needle Forced Narrowing

Narrowing by four needles is performed on the selected knitting layer in the selected area.

5-Needle Forced Narrowing

Narrowing by five needles is performed on the selected knitting layer in the selected area.

6-Needle Forced Narrowing

Narrowing by six needles is performed on the selected knitting layer in the selected area.

Optional or Anticipatory Narrowing

If a shape step is present in the previous, current or following shape row in the defined area, narrowing is performed on the selected layer in the selected area.

 

Optional Widening

If a shape step is present in the defined area, widening is performed on the selected layer in the selected area.

Width Adaptation

Width Adaptation of Layers via Narrowing of one Layer

If the widths of both knitting layers are different, the width of the wider knitting layer is given to the more narrow knitting layer in the selected area.

Width Adaptation of Layers via Widening of one Layer

If the widths of both knitting layers are different, the width of the more narrow knitting layer is given to the wider knitting layer in the selected area.

 

Yarn Carrier May Not Change the Layer

The yarn carrier at the selected position may not change the knitting layer in the following knitting row. The outer edge remains open.

Knit off Gore

Generate Extension of the Following Pattern Row with Shape Data

The following rows of the selected knitting layer(s) are widened to the width of the suspended stitches in the selected area. In addition, the shape edges in the widened area are extended.

Extension of the Following Pattern Row

The following rows of the selected knitting layer(s) are widened to the width of the suspended stitches in the selected area.

 

Insert Linking-Off Markings on Previous Shape Row

Binding-off markings will be set on the preceding knitting rows of the selected area.

Delete knitting from the previous k&w Arrangement

The selected area of the previous knitting row is deleted.

Connection of tubes

Transfer Inward

The selected areas are transferred inward to the left or right.

Prepare

The selected areas are transferred to a needle bed. By this the transferring inward of other area is prepared.
