Technical Processing
During the technical processing, the pattern is prepared with regard to its knitting technique. The knitting program (Sintral) for the machine can be generated from the result.
The technical processing will be displayed in the Technical Assistant program in terms of technical rules and recorded in a log file. The technical processing can be started for an expanded design pattern or a technical pattern.
The most important tasks of the technical processing:
- Transferring module properties to the pattern
- Checking pattern for freedom from errors and eliminating conflicts
- Check the pattern data for completeness and add missing data
- Adjusting competing values
- Generate technical rows (with intarsias the pattern rows are split apart and the knit-in rows added, while with structures the transfer rows for transferring the surrounding are added)
- Insert technical modules
- Organizing yarn carriers and their movement
- Form knitting strokes
Occurring problems e.g. conflicts existing in the pattern are detected and processed according to a presetting if there are different possible options.
The presetting can be realized in the solution table in the Technical Assistant program.
A value adjustment is carried out for the pattern parameters stitch length, fabric take-down, carriage speed and for the technical row data Holding-down jacks.
The Value adjustment is necessary when different values result parallel to each other after transferring the module properties, but only one row value is permitted.
The results of the technical processing will be entered immediately in the technical view of the pattern.
The end of the technical processing will be displayed by the message Technical processing completed successfully!. The message window also contains the question as to whether the knitting program (Sintral) is then to be generated.
The technical processing can be repeated for a pattern. The repetition is a check for changes to the pattern after the technical processing.
Minor changes (e.g. of a NP index) do not require a re-processing

For a pattern with comb start, you can start the technical processing 2 pieces 
, which the pattern will be duplicated neighboring with a definable distance.
Start the technical processing for a pattern:
- If several patterns are open, the pattern to be processed is on top and the title bar of the pattern is active.

- Click on the
symbol in the Steps of Processing toolbar.
- Technical Processing is started.
Technical Processing runs through all technical rules without stopping.
Occurring problems and any value adjustments required are edited with preset solutions.
Technical Processing is canceled when the preset solution for an occurring problem is set to cancel.
You can stop the technical processing with the Stop button and continue with the Continue button.
Clicking on the symbol with the Ctrl key pressed, you start the Technical Assistant with the step-by-step technical processing.
