Generate new rules

You can use your own rules for the value adjustment by generating new rules or changing existing rules.

I. Generate a new rule:

    Click on the New rule button.
  1. The Conditions and actions dialog box is opened.

    Select one each of the functions present in the Select condition list field and in the Select action list field.

    Retain the name Rule xoffered in the Nameentry field.
    -  or  -
    Specify a new name. x: Consecutive numbering of all existing rules.

    Click on the OK button.
  1. The dialog box is closed. A prompt window appears after the rule area. The new rule is added below the existing rules. The rule area is all positions or no position of the pattern.

A new rule can also be generated by copying an existing rule and then changing the copy.

II. Copy an existing rule (Drag & Drop):

    Click on the rule with the left mouse button while simultaneously depressing the Ctrl key, drag it to another position and release the left mouse button.
  1. A copy is made.

III. Changing an existing rule:

  1. The rule is selected.

    Click on the Change rule button.
  1. The Conditions and actions dialog box is opened. The name, condition and action of the rule are displayed.

    Select one each of the functions present in the Select condition list field and in the Select action list field.

    Adjust the name in the Name entry field.

    Click on the OK button.
  1. The dialog box is closed. The changes are displayed in the display field.

You can also change the name of a rule in the display field by clicking on the selected rule with the left mouse button.

Each time the dialog box is opened again by Technical Processing only contains the standard rules Standard 001 to Standard 003. Your own rules must be saved and loaded each time the dialog box is opened.

IV. Save rules:

    Click on the Save button.
  1. Allocate file name in the Save file as dialog box, set the directory and click on the Save button. All rules present in the display field are saved in the file.

V. Load rules:

    Click on the Load button.
  1. Select file in the Open dialog box and click on the Open button. All rules present in the file are added in the display field below the rules already present.

VI. Delete a rule:

  1. The rule is selected.

    Click on the Delete rule button.
  1. The rule is removed from the display field.
