Load the machine operating system from the M1plus

The operating systems of the CMS machines (TC and OKC) can be managed with the M1plus pattern workstation and be called up from the different machines. With an networked machine park, updated machine software versions can therefore be loaded into the machines.
For this purpose, a directory for operating system files is created during the installation of the M1plus software in the pattern workstation. The directory path is: D:\Stoll\M1\Bootfiles\.

Load the new operating system from the directory of the M1plus in a CMS-TC machine:

  1. The CMS machines are networked with the M1plus.
  2. The D:\Stoll\M1\Bootfiles\ directory of the M1plus is configured as boot directory at the different machines.
  3. The CMS machine is in the boot mode.
