Paste File(s)

This function is used to save files from the paste buffer to a KMC or in a container.

Insert files from the paste buffer:

    Call up the Insert Files function in the Edit menu.

    Click the icon in the toolbar.
    -  or  -
    Press the key combination Ctrl + V.
  1. The file from the paste buffer is saved in a container or on a KMC and appears in the container table.

This function can also be called up via drag & drop: With two open container tables, you can select a file with the left mouse button and drag it to the second container table with the left mouse button depressed.
The context menu is opened by clicking a pattern file in Windows Explorer with the right mouse button. This context menu contains the functions SendTo/ToKMC and SendTo/To Disk (Cardimag) with which you can also transfer one or more files (*.sin, *.jac, *.set, *.seq, *.sel, *.ord or *.mdv) simultaneously directly from Windows Explorer as cardimag.img to a KMC or floppy disk. The main program need not be run for this purpose.
If an entire pattern is transferred as an mdv file, the files *.sin, *.jac and possibly *.set are automatically extracted from the *.mdv file and copied to a KMC or floppy disk in the process. Sintral, jacquard and setup need not be extracted beforehand.
