Delete File(s)

This function is used to delete selected files in a container table of the KMC or the container.

Deleted files can be restored via the Restore function in the Special menu up to 4 times.
Final deleting and the releasing of the memory space occurs via the Reorganize function in the KMC menu.
The display of deleted files occurs via the Display All? function in the View menu.
Deleted tables are represented in the container table by a red diagonal bar in the icon.

Delete files:

    Call up the Delete File(s) function in the Edit menu.

    Click the icon in the toolbar.
    -  or  -
    Press the key combination Ctrl + D.
  1. All files from the KMC or the container are deleted.

The context menu is folded out by clicking on a selected file with the right mouse button. This context menu contains the Delete files entry with which the function can also be activated.
The safety prompt can be deactivated with the Delete prompt? function in the Special menu.
