Generate T11 system

This dialog box is used to save an operating system for STx11 from a CD to a KMC.
The dialog box is opened by the Generate System function in the Edit menu.

Make the following settings in this dialog box:

Select directory/floppy disk drive.

Display field

Display directory path.

Preloader list field

Display preloader.

Boot file list field

Display boot file.

Languages list field

Select language.

System name list field

Display system name.

OK button

Confirm settings. The dialog box is closed.

Cancel button

Close dialog box without applying settings.

Save CMS operating system for STx11 from CD to KMC:

Instead of using a CD, operating systems can be saved to a KMC from another disk drive.

    Place the CD Machine Operating Systems into the CD/DVD drive.

    Insert an empty KMC into the Knit Memory Card Adapter and switch on the device.

    Call up the STOLL Knit Memory Card program in the Tools/Knit Memory Card... menu.

    Open the Selecting KMC (device, connection) dialog box in the KMC/Open.../Open KMC... menu of the STOLL Knit Memory Card program.
  1. The inserted KMC is displayed.

    Call up the Generate T11 system dialog box in the Edit/Generate System... menu in the STOLL Knit Memory Card program.

    Select the directory Boot files on the Machine Operating Systems CD in the Source selection window with the key.

    Open the Bootfiles directory in the large selection window by clicking the sign.

    Open additional subdirectories up to the required operating system.

    Select the required version.
  1. Available languages are offered for selection in the Languages selection field.

    Click one or more language abbreviations to select a language.

    Confirm settings with OK.
  1. The operating system is saved in the corresponding languages on the KMC.
