New technique for fastening the yarn end
This new technique replaces the time consuming manual knotting of the yarns
The yarn ends will be fastened securely in the fabric at the machine.
No additional strokes are required for this.
With the new split technique the yarn is pressed into the needle hook by the closing needle latch (latch turn over). The yarn can be fed without tuck loop.
A secure yarn insertion, without leaving markings in the fabric, is ensured.
Problem presentation:
The red yarn (contrast color) is knitted-in with tuck loops, which have to be pulled out afterwards. Thus markings can result in the fabric and they will remain visible.
Problem solution:
New method with splitting:
The red yarn (contrast color) is knitted-in and splitted with floating.
The following transfer fastens the yarn at the stitch below it.
Blue arrow: Stitch splitted to the back (normal yarn).
Red arrow: Front stitch bound-in (contrast color).
Blue arrow: Split stitch transferred from the back to the front to fasten the bound-in yarn (normal yarn).
Red arrow: Bound-in stitch that is in front of the split stitch (contrast color)
The yarn carrier to be knitted in cannot be taken out of the clamp.
