Pattern element

The pattern areas that were backed up with the functions Copy and/or Cut appear locally within the Module toolbar in the <pattern_name> module group and are called Pattern Element. The marking for a local pattern element is the L in the upper left corner of the picture. A local pattern element is only available with the active pattern.
The Save in Database function from the context menu of the Modules toolbar is used to save the pattern element in the module database Then it is available in the module group User/<user name>/Pattern Elements within the Module Explorer and is also displayed in the Module toolbar in the Pattern Elements module group. As it is saved to the database you can use it for an other pattern as well.
You can import images with the File / Import / Picture as Pattern Element function. These will automatically be changed into pattern elements and will be saved in the database in the Pattern elements module group.
If there are local modules within a saved pattern element then these are saved to the User/modules used by pattern elements module group.
The Paste and Insert mirrored functions of the Edit menu are used to paste the pattern element at another location in the pattern.
Modules contained in a pattern element are retained and will be inserted in the pattern.
With the Enter key the Data transfer dialog box is displayed for a selected pattern element in which you can select the data to be transferred from the pattern element to the pattern.
Pattern elements have the symbol in the lower right corner.

Pattern elements can be searched for in the pattern and replaced with a changed pattern element by the Find and replace function.
