Working with the Stitch Length (NP) Tab in the Knitting Element

Input in the control column

Stitch lengths valid for the whole knitting row

Input at needle actions

Stitch length is only valid in the area of knitting needles with the structure of the knitting element.
Result: The knitting row will be knit with different stitch lengths by PTS (NPJ).

I. Input of a stitch length in the control column of the knitting element:

Design Pattern document window is selected.

1: Open the desired Structure Module knitting element in the Knitting Elements tab of the Knitting Elements tool window.

Knitting Element Editor appears with all the variants of the structure module.

2: Make the desired settings for the editor view in the toolbar.

Check	Check the modifications in the knitting element regarding plausibility and completeness

Design Rows:	Control Columns		Apply Control Column Data from technical rows to design rows. : Apply the control column data to the design rows if you want to see them in the design pattern .
Apply	Apply the modifications to the design pattern

Disabled	Display of all the variants with all information of the opened knitting element Structure Module in the knitting element editor.
Enabled	Selection for the view in the Knitting Element Editor
		Show Design Rows
		Show Technical Rows
		Show Structure on All Needles
		Show Structure on All Needles and Flipped Vertically
		Show Structure in 1x1 Technique
		Show Structure in 1x1 Technique and Flipped Vertically

3: Make the desired change in the control column and / or .

4: If necessary, check the changes with Check .

5: Save the changes with the Apply button and click the button to close the Knitting Element editor.

Close the Knitting Element Editor with the button and confirm the prompt about applying the changes with Apply.

The change in the control column and / or is entered in the corresponding control column of the design pattern.

II. Entry of a stitch length in the needle actions of the knitting element:

Design Pattern document window is selected.

1: Open the desired Structure Module knitting element in the Knitting Elements tab of the Knitting Elements tool window.

Knitting Element Editor appears with all the variants of the structure module.

2: Make the desired settings for the editor view in the toolbar:

: Apply Control Column Data from technical rows to design rows
e.g. : Display of the variant as all needles knit

3: In the Knitting Element editor status bar, switch the presentation to Display of the stitch length.

4: Make the desired changes for the stitch length and / or in this displayed variant in the area with the needle actions.

5: With the Apply button, apply the changes to the design pattern and click the button to close the Knitting Element editor

with the button close the Knitting Element editor and confirm the prompt about applying the change by clicking the Replace button.

The change of the stitch length in the needle actions is entered in the drawn knitting elements in the design pattern.

When entering a stitch length in the needle actions of the knitting element and then applying it to the design pattern, the different stitch lengths are present in one technical row. During the technical processing, the pattern is automatically generated with Power Tension Setting (PTS).
