Draw in Color

Draw-in color area:

    Select the Pattern Color setting in the status bar to draw the colored areas.
  1. The basic pattern will be shown by Yarn Colors / Magazine Colors / Yarn Carrier Colors.

    Select the desired color in the Pattern Colors tool window under Yarn Colors or Magazine Colors.

  • Delete Color
  • Plating Colors
  • Multiple System Colors
    For multi-system knitting

Yarn Colors

For drawing the design pattern, with it several yarn carriers may be necessary for each yarn color.

  • Bobbin with color
    Not used within design pattern
  • Bobbin with color +
    Used within design pattern

: Yarn carriers will not be allocated automatically to a yarn carrier rail. Yarn carrier home position can be determined automatically.

Magazine Colors

For drawing the design pattern, with it one yarn carrier is used for each magazine color.

  • Magazine Color
    Not used within design pattern
  • Magazine Color +
    Used within design pattern

: Yarn carriers will not be allocated automatically to a yarn carrier rail.
Yarn carrier home position can be determined.

Recommendation!

Draw the pattern by yarn colors or magazine colors in order to get common yarn carrier home positions (order related data) for all the pattern within the order.

Yarn Carrier Colors

For drawing the design pattern, with a yarn carrier already positioned on the corresponding rail for each yarn carrier color in use.

Result:
The yarn carrier home position is already specified when drawing with yarn carrier colors.

: You can change a yarn carrier home position by re-drawing with another yarn carrier color or by the Exchange Yarn Carrier Colors dialog box.

Technique Colors

To change or create technical modules like

  • Starts
  • Picking-up after pressing-off
  • etc.

    Draw-in the ‘E‘ color area with the desired Yarn Colors or Magazine Colors.

A new yarn carrier is defined for each color drawn-in.

If possible, draw-in an even number of rows of one color into the pattern.
