Display the options with yarn carriers

I. Function: Store Yarn Carrier in Magazine

  1. The New Pattern xx document window is enabled.
  2. Yarn Carriers is enabled.
  3. The Yarn Carriers tool window is open.
  4. The Available Yarns and Yarn Carriers tab is displayed.

    Click the Store Yarn Carrier in Magazine button under Function in the Yarn Carriers ribbon.
  1. The yarn / magazine colors used in the pattern are placed from the tracks into the magazines at left or right.

The respective allocation of the yarn carriers regarding the positioning left / right side is retained.

    Newly allocate yarn carrier with the settings to a track.
    With the Allocate Rails button

    Manually by LMB
  1. The yarn carriers are allocated to a track on the left or on the right.

Options for calculating the rail allocation

Selection of a preset

Fancy stitch color in front of basic color

Allocate the yarn carrier of the basic color to a rail in front of the fancy stitch colors (Ornamental Stitch).

Fancy stitch color behind of basic color

Allocate the yarn carrier of the basic color to a rail behind the fancy stitch colors (Ornamental Stitch).

Do not distinguish

Does not distinguish between basic color and fancy color when calcullating the rail allocation.

Secure yarn insertion

Considering the Allocation of the yarn carriers for the secure yarn insertion at widenings of intarsia color fields. for the calculation.

Do not consider Secure yarn insertion for the calculation.

II. Function: Initialize

  1. The New Pattern xx document window appears.
  2. Yarn Carriers is enabled.
  3. The Yarn Carriers tool window is open.
  4. The Available Yarns and Yarn Carriers tab is displayed.

    Click the Initialize button under Function in the Yarn Carriers ribbon.
  1. The yarn / magazine colors used in the pattern are placed from the yarn carrier tracks into the magazine in the center (yarn carrier undefined).

    If necessary, newly allocate the yarn carrier to a yarn carrier track.

  1. The yarn carriers are allocated to a track on the left or on the right.

III. Function: Reassign Preallocation by Technique

  1. The New Pattern xx document window appears.
  2. Yarn Carriers is enabled.
  3. The Yarn Carriers tool window is open.

    Make the desired changes via
    Configuration -> Machine Attributes tab -> Preallocation by Technique sector.

    Apply the changes with the Reassign Preallocation by Technique button.
  1. The new positioning of the technique color is displayed in the Available Yarns and Yarn Carriers tab.
