Find and Replace

Find and replace attributes in the entire pattern.

Opens the dialog box where you define the search criteria and the criteria for insert.

By opening the dialog box, the currently selected cursor attributes are applied to the search criteria and to the insertion criteria.

Click on the red-framed areas 3 - 6, 10 - 13 and 16 of the image to access the description directly.

Find

In the left area of the dialog box make the settings for the search area and the search criteria.

Selection

Only search in the selected area or in the entire pattern.

Search Direction

Search to Top and Bottom

Define the search criteria for the Control Column Data.

In the right area of the dialog box you define the settings for the criteria for insert or for the criteria for exchange.

The effects that result from the Find and Replace, can possibly be very extensive and confusing. As a result, it is recommended to proceed very carefully and step by step. Occasional intermediate storage can be very helpful, as well as making use of the Undo action in cases of doubt.
