Pattern related settings in the following control columns:

Working with YDopt (default setting):

The technical processing determines optimized parking positions at the fabric selvedge. Frequently used yarn carriers are positioned as close as possible to the fabric selvedge less used somewhat distant.

    In the ribbon over Configuration open the dialog box.

YD Optimiser par rangée (YDopt)

Automatic yarn carrier staggering is activated.
(default setting)

: Yarn carriers are staggered automatically at the fabric selvedge according to specifications.

Automatic yarn carrier staggering is disabled.

Yarn carriers are manually staggered according to the specifications in the Yarn Carrier Staggering (YD / YDI) control column.

Working with YD / YDI in the control column:

  1. Pattern is displayed as design pattern.
  2. In the Configuration dialog box / Optimisation tab, YD Optimiser par rangée (YDopt) is disabled.
  3. The Yarn Carrier Staggering (YD / YDI) control column is displayed.

: In these technical rows, no YD / YDI is defined, which means that Don't care is used. This means that the last yarn carrier staggering used is applied by the technical processing.

:

  • YCIn: n = 1-20
  • 5 tables (YCI1- YCI5) without correction values are saved as favorites. The fields in the table are empty (=Don't Care), which means that if no value is entered, then the value from the previous yarn carrier correction is kept.
  • Further tables for yarn carrier correction values YCI can be added.
  • YCI19 table:
    Yarn Carrier Correction for Début / fin du tricotage, Cueillage
    : Only with ADF machines: Knitting-in with Intarsia with Tuck
  • YCI20 table:
    Yarn Carrier Correction for Début / fin du tricotage, Vanisage
    : Better catching of the plating yarn by the presser foot
