Step by Step to Pattern-5

  1. A pattern project with one pattern and the desired settings is created.
    1
    Generate basic pattern with:

1

Color stripe 1

  • Yarn Color #3
  • Front Stitch with Transfer

2

Color stripe 2

  • Yarn Color #4
  • Links-Links:
Change in rows from Front Stitch with Transfer and Rear Stitch with Transfer
  • Left + right selvedge:
per 2x Front Stitch with Transfer

3

Color stripe 3

  • Yarn Color #6
  • Front Stitch with Transfer

4

Color area

  • Yarn Color #1
  • Aran PE 4 pattern element on reverse jersey
  • Left + right selvedge:
per 2x Front Stitch with Transfer

    2
Display the Cycle (RS) control column.
    3
Place the cursor in the control column and with RMB -> open the context menu.
    4
Select available cycle counter color+(?) directly in the context menu and draw into control column
    - or -
using Show Table open the Cycle Counters tool window in the context menu.
    5
    Select the User tab.
  1. The tool window is displayed.

: In the table, the cycle counters in use (from knitting elements) and the ones to be used (available) are displayed before Technical Processing.

ID

Running numbering and sorting of newly created entries

Selecting the cycle counter to enter in the Cycle (RS) control column

RS

Input and display of the index for the indirect (RSn =1-39) or direct (D) cycle counter allocation

Color

Display of the color to enter in the Cycle (RS) control column

Value

  • Number of repetitions with Row Cycle selection
  • Specification of the validity with Switchable Cycle (function) selection

Behavior

Row Cycle

  • Definition of a repetition of knitting rows (simple cycle)
  • Definition of a repetition with repetitions of knitting rows (nested cycle)

Switchable Cycle (function)

  • Definition of cycles for the length control with different sizes (set of sizes for the fabric length)

: All other options under Behavior are definitions, that are used in the Start knitting elements.

min

  • Minimal repetition factor
  • Definition of the range of validity for Switchable Cycle (function)

max

  • Minimal repetition factor
  • Definition of the range of validity for Switchable Cycle (function)

Description

About the use of the cycle in the fabric

    6
Select the desired available entry (color) from the User tab and enter in the control column.
    7
In the RS column, indicates the desired value for RSn (n=1-39).
    8
Define the desired number of repeats in the Value column.
    9
Make the following selection with Behavior:

Simple cycles

Nested cycles

The procedure for multiple entries in control columns:

  • Cycle (RS)
  • Yarn Carrier Presettings
  • Yarn Carrier Parking

Add an entry to an existing entry:

:
When working with Switchable Cycle (function) it is necessary that a cycle counter e.g. RS16 is used.
The cycle counter is freely selectable.

    10
If necessary, open the Yarn Carrier View via Yarn Carriers in order to position the yarn carriers on the rails.
    11
    Start the Technical Processing:

RS1 – RS6

Cycle counter for the length of the basic pattern

RS16

Cycle counter for the length control for the sizes S to L

RS15

Cycle for the extension of the protection rows in the knitting elements from the Starts directory

RS17

Comb on / off

  • RS17=0: Working with comb

RS18

Cycle for row compensation with the Knit-in before the Start, Float and Lock (1 piece) technical modules

: The following cycle counters (RS) are added automatically to the Technical Processing in the table because of the use of the corresponding knitting elements.

RS1

Cycle for the length control of the Start knitting element

RS13

Use of the Sintral function FF-Trans when

  • knitting without comb and clamping
    • Without Comb
    • Without Clamping
  • Knit
    • Without Comb
    • With Clamping

: Marking of the color in the Cycle Counterstable with the 'S' symbol

RS14

Cycle for lengthening when using special knitting elements from Protection Rows, with Cast-off

RS15

Cycle for the extension of the protection rows in the knitting elements from the Starts directory

RS17

Comb on / off

  • RS17=0: Working with comb
  • RS17=1: Working without comb

RS18

Cycle for row compensation with the Knit-in before the Start, Float and Lock (1 piece) or Knit-in before the Start, Float and Lock (2 pieces) technical modules

RS19

IF decision for knitting elements from the Starts directory

  • Without elastic thread (RS19=0)
  • With elastic thread / Plated with elastic thread (RS19=1)

RS20

Cycle for lengthening the knitting with residual yarn until the belt take-down grasps the fabric

Verwendung von Zähler #

: Counters # are saved momentarily in the Stoll template and when calling up in the Cycle Counters control column are written into Sintral.

    12
    Generate Sintral.
    13
    Start the Sintral Check.
    14
    Extract the knitting program.
  1. A program for the knitting machine will be created: CMS530.Pattern-5.zip.
  2. Load knitting program into the machine.

: The extracted file "CMS530.Pattern-5.zip" can be loaded onto the machine with an USB stick or via Ethernet.
