Yarn Definition

Start tab -> Tool Windows -> Yarn Definition

In the Yarn Definition tool window you can specify the properties for every yarn in the pattern.

The entries can then be assigned to the different pattern colors in the Yarn Allocation tool window.

Make the following settings in this table for the different yarns:

Color	Identifying color of the yarns Change Color Value
ID	Identifying characters of the yarns
Description	Note on the use of the entry. You can enter a text here.
Nm/tex/Ne	Unit of the yarn thickness
Yarn Quality	Yarn thickness and quantity of the threads characterize the yarn quality
Number of Yarn Threads	Number of individual threads
Supplier	Supplier of the yarn
Manufacturer	Manufacturer of the yarn
Composition	Composition of the yarn
