Border Processing for Intarsia Jacquard

Correction of the border of the motif depending on the carriage direction

I. The ways of border processing with Intarsia Jacquards (yarn bridges):

Border Processing

Due to the drawing and the inserted jacquard back, adjustments to the back of the jacquard may be necessary at the border regarding the carriage direction.

Example:

The border processing depends on the carriage direction
The borders of the left and right will be corrected according to the carriage direction.
The inserted jacquard back is repeatedly inserted up to the quantity of needles, which is entered under allowed stepping.

Procedures

A Jacquard back is applied to the a selected Jacquard area.

1: Open the context menu in the pattern area.

2: Select Traitement du bord pour jacquard intarsia....

The Traitement du bord pour jacquard intarsia dialog box appears.

We recommend to do the border processing and the net end following each other as the pattern will be modified by the border processing.
This change may require inserting a Net ending module.

Search Options
	Edit the border processing of the Jacquard areas within the whole pattern.
	Border processing only of the Jacquard fields within a selected area : Multiple selection is possible.
Jacquard intarsia
	Default setting: The border processing will be carried out at the Intarsia Jacquard motif.
	The border processing of the Intarsia Jacquard motif will not be carried out.
	Inscrire la direction du chariot
		The carriage directions will be applied to the control column of the pattern.
		The carriage directions will be not applied to the control column of the pattern.
	Direction du chariot de la première rangée
	<<	Carriage direction to the left for the first row of the Jacquard field
	>>	Carriage direction to the right for the first row of the Jacquard field
	Gradation admise
	Gauche		Setting of allowed stepping by needles at the left border
	Droite		Setting of allowed stepping by needles at the right border
	: No Jacquard back will be entered in the area of allowed stepping.

Fin de réseau pour jacquard en réseau intarsia
	Default setting: A Net ending module will be inserted at the end of the inserted Jacquard back.
	No Net ending module will be inserted at the end of the inserted Jacquard back.
	Seulement pour maille avec report et de la même couleur
		The following requirements have to be fulfilled: First SJ row following the Jacquard must contain one color only. First SJ row following the Jacquard must be filled with Stitch with transfer needle action. : Net-end will not be placed if one of these conditions is not met.


		À partir d'un nombre d'aiguilles de réseau de Net Stitches	Specify the quantity of net stitches at the Jacquard back from which the selected module is to be inserted. : Net-end will not be placed with less stitches at the ending row of the Jacquard.
		À partir d'un espace libre de [rangées]	Quantity of SJ rows interrupting the Jacquard (space) The net-end will be placed if the actual quantity of rows is equal to or greater than the value set. Net-end will not be placed if the actual quantity of rows is less. Stitch with transfer is automatically replaced by Stitch without transfer within the spacing in order to prevent the net stitches from auto transferring to the front. The net back is knitted in the following Jacquard area again. : Recommendation: Avoid the entry of the net ending only for small spaces! Example: without net ending Example:Preset 5 [rows] With a spacing of 6 rows, the net back is completed. With a spacing of 2 and 4 rows, the net back is not interrupted. : Stitch with transfer will be replaced by Stitch without transfer. With it, the stitch of the Jacquard back will not be transferred.

3: Make the desired settings under Jacquard intarsia.

4: Disable the Fin de réseau pour jacquard en réseau intarsia function.

5: Apply the settings to the pattern with the Accepter button.

The dialog box will not be closed.

6: Disable the Jacquard intarsia function.

7: Make the desired settings under Fin de réseau pour jacquard en réseau intarsia.

8: Apply the settings to the pattern with the Accepter button.

The dialog box will not be closed.

9: Close the dialog box with X.

Inserting the module for the net ending avoids the transferred stitches to shine through.
