Use Devoré (Overview)

Use Devoré within a pattern:

  1. Only ADF machines
  2. Corresponding cam conversion on a system for the rear needle bed.

    Activate Devoré for the converted cam box, in the Configuration dialog box -> Attributs de machine tab -> Fonctions système section.

    Draw the pattern in the CREATE PLUS with the corresponding needle actions for rear stitch and Fil du motif arrière .

    Draw the Dévoré (1 système) arrière symbol into the Fonction système control column.

    Define a plating color with two colors for two yarn carriers in the Couleurs de vanisage tool window.
    Leading yarn carrier feeds the binding thread.
    Following yarn carrier feeds the motif thread.

    Select the plating offset 1 for the leading yarn carrier and the plating offset 2 for the following yarn carrier.
    The following values in the plating offset table are recommended.
    Leading yarn carrier:
    Insert Position -1.3
    Height -1.0
    Following yarn carrier:
    Insert Position 8.0
    Height 0.0

    Draw the defined plating color with the Fil du motif avant needle attribute into the area in the pattern where the knitting technique Devoré is to be used.
