Storage in the opened pattern project

Create new knitting element:

1: Click on the CREATE PLUS icon at the start of Novo elemento de tricotagem.
- or -
Click Novo elemento de tricotagem icon in the Knit Explorer.
- or -
Select Módulo novo... in the context menu of the Módulos tab.

2: The Novo elemento de tricotagem dialog box will appear.


1	Nome	Enter the name of the new knitting element.
2	Tipo de elemento de tricotagem	Selection of the template for the new knitting element : The template determines the basic properties.
3	Técnica de tricotagem	Selection of the basic knitting mode for the new knitting element Todas as agulhas Técnica 1x1

3: Make the desired settings.

4: Close the dialog box with the OK button.

The tool window appears with the corresponding template.

1	Verificar		Automático	The created knitting element are not automatically checked regarding the correct structure.
			Automático	An automatic check is executed regarding the correct structure of the created knitting element.
			Verificar	Checking of the created knitting element regarding the correct structure.
	Fileiras de desenho		Colunas de controle	Not applying the control column data from the technical rows to the design rows
			Colunas de controle	Applying the control column data from the technical rows to the design rows
		: The information from the design rows are displayed when drawing in the design pattern. If the control column data appears only in the technical rows, this data will only be entered by the technical processing.
			Seleção	Get the design symbols for the technical rows in the selected area created.
	Grey: Options for filtering the view is deactivated. Blue: Options for filtering the view is activated
	Grey: The design rows are not displayed in the view. Blue: The design rows are displayed in the view. : The information from the design rows are displayed when drawing in the design pattern. The design rows are generated from the created technical rows by default.
	Grey: The technical rows are not displayed in the view. Blue: The technical rows are displayed in the view. : The information from the technical rows are inserted in the pattern during the technical processing.
Presentation of symbols:		Grey: Will not be displayed. Blue: Will be displayed.
		Display of the drawing canvas for knitting with all needles.
		Display of the drawing canvas for knitting with all needles mirrored. : Display only possible when this drawing canvas is created.
		Display of the drawing canvas for knitting in 1x1 technique. : Display only possible when this drawing canvas is created.
		Display of the drawing canvas for knitting in 1x1 technique mirrored. : Display only possible when this drawing canvas is created.
2	Display of the corresponding template with control columns and drawing canvas
3	Controle	Tab with all attributes for creating the different knitting element types
	Desenho	Tab with icons for changing / creating design rows
	Ações da agulha / Cores	Tab with needle actions and the pattern colors

5: Adjust the template width and height by deleting / inserting of rows / columns.

6: Select the Ações da agulha / Cores tab.

7: Select the display of Technical Rows.

8: Draw the structure into the technical rows of the new knitting element with needle actions and without pattern color.

With needle actions and the desired pattern color draw the structure.

The design rows are generated automatically.

Structure without pattern color		Structure with stitch lengths

1	Symbol Transparente	In the design pattern in the presentation display stitch length, draw-in the stitch lengths for the front and rear.
2	Needle Actions Without pattern color: Entry takes place independently of the color in the design pattern With pattern color: Entry is done with the used pattern color in the design pattern

9: If desired, define further control column data in the technical rows.

10: Apply this control column data to the design rows with the Colunas de controle button activated.

11: Check the knitting element regarding the correct structure with the Verificar button.

12: Save and close the knitting element.

Create a new, local knitting element:

A project is created and opened.

13: In the tool window Módulos select the tab Módulos.

14: Call-up the Módulo novo... context menu of the tool window.

The Novo elemento de tricotagem dialog box appears.

15: Select the desired template.

16: Select the knitting technique for the selected template.

17: Confirm entries with OK.

Tool window with template is opened.

22: If desired, define further control column data in the technical rows.

23: Apply this control column data to the design rows with the Colunas de controle button activated.

24: Check the knitting element regarding the correct structure with the Verificar button.

25: Close the tool window with X.

A new local knitting element is saved in the Módulos tab.

Properties of Knitting Elements

The properties define the behavior, the appearance and the size of a knitting element.

Propriedades Dialog Box:

26: Select module.

27: Open the context menu.

28: Select Propriedades.

The Propriedades dialog box will appear.

29: Set the desired properties.

30: Close the dialog box with .

The properties are applied when using it in the pattern.

Shape is positioned in the design pattern.

31: Switch document window xxx with positioned shape via the layer user control to Editar camada de corte de linhas (Y) .

32: Position the cursor in this view where the marking point should be positioned.

33: Open the context menu -> select Adicionar ponto de marcação.

The green marking point is inserted at this position.

34: Position cursor on the point.

35: Open the context menu with RMB -> select Propriedades.

The tool window Marking Point Properties is opened.

36: Make the following settings:

Name: Name for the shape marking point
Content: Allocate created knitting element from Knit Explorer or from tab Módulos (local knitting element)
Orientation:

Anchor: Selection of the reference point (hotspot) in the knitting element
Distance: Positioning regarding the anchor

37: Close the tool window.

Possibilities of storage of private knitting elements:

In the Knit Explorer
: Knitting element available for all projects
In the Projecto de amostra
: Local knitting element related to the project
The knitting element can be saved.

Arquivo -> Salvar como
: The knitting element is saved in any directory on the PC as xx.smf file.
