Properties of Fabric Piece

Call up dialog box by the Properties context menu.

Name
Enter the name of the fabric piece.
Input Format
Shows the current input format.
Gauge

Select the gauge of the machine.

Stitch Density

Select a defined index of stitch density for the basic pattern.
Fill

Select a basic needle action for the pattern.
Pattern Color

Select a basic color for the pattern.
Basic Type
Quantity

Specify the quantity of fabric piece within the article.
E.g. A quantity of 2 for the left and right sleeve.

Distance of Shape Halves

Odd Distance
Select this option to get an odd distance of the shape halves.
E.g. for preparing the V-neck
Distance
Specify the quantity of needles for the area outside shape between the shape halves.
E.g. Front of a cardigan

Start

Stitch Density

Select a defined index of stitch density for the start

Knitting Element for the Start

Select knitting element for the start.
Depending on the selected knitting element there will appear further options.

Quantity of Systems

Specify the number of systems for the fabric start.

Elastic Thread

Specify with or without elastic thread and the insertion of the elastic thread.

Protection Thread

Specify with or without protection thread.

Transition

Specify the type of transition between the fabrics.

Select the knitting element for widening the start.

The widening of the fabric results from the stitch density and the start module.

Here you select the knitting elements for the protection rows.

Here you can determine the stitch length and the position in the fabric piece for linking rows.
