Define Options for the Current Shape

Define the narrowing, widening and fading-out default settings.

  1. Select the File ribbon on the top left.
  1. Call up the Configuration menu.
  1. Keep the selected measure unit cm.
  1. Keep the value 10.0 in the Reference Unit of Stitch Density edit box.
  1. Keep the Hand-Knitting (Courses) check box deactivated.
  1. Do not make any changes under Show deviation of points in the dimensioning view
  1. Go to the Default Settings group box.
  1. Select the Narrowing, above/underneath, transfer separately module in the Module list box under Narrowing.
  1. Select the value 1 in the Width edit box under Narrowing.
  1. Select the overlying option in the Look list box under Narrowing.
  1. Keep the setting for Multi-step narrowing.
    It is not relevant for the current dimensioned shape.
  1. Activate the Narrowing or Widening After an Even Number of Rows check box under Stepping.
  1. Select the Widening, Standard module in the Module list box under Widening.
  1. Select the value 1 in the Width edit box under Widening.
  1. Keep the current option in the Module list box under Fading-out (for body and sleeve only).
    Fading-out is deactivated by the width value 0 in the next step.
  1. Select the value 0 in the Width edit box under Fading-out (for body and sleeve only).
  1. Call up the Save function at the top left.
  • The selected settings are made for the current shape.
