How to Use the Smart Card
- Before using the USB reading device (Smart Card Reader), the corresponding driver has to be installed.

- Connect the USB reading device to an USB port.
- 2
- Put the Smart Card into the reading device.
Watch out the correct position of the chip contacts.
- The green LED of the Smart Card Reader shows the readiness of the reading device.
You can install the software.
- Do not remove Smart Card from the reading device neither when installing nor when using the program.
- During the installation and execution of the program, do not unplug the Smart Card Reader.
With the log on of a user or when putting in the smart card following Windows message may appear:
The card inserted requires drivers not present on this system.
Use another card!
Confirm this message with OK and log-on as usual.

In case of suspected manipulation of the system time, a connection to internet may be necessary.
