Adopt module/color/pattern parameters

With this function you apply the following characteristics from the pattern according to the active view and the selected option:

 

Symbol and Fabric View

Technical view

Shape View

Color

With fully fashion patterns the color of a shape edge can be selected with this function in the shape view and then drawn with it in order, for example, to widen the shape edge.
In the yarn field view this function for selection of a yarn field is automatically active.

I. Select features to be transferred:

  1. A View is active.

    Click the icon from the Drawing tools toolbar.
  1. The following options are available for selection in the tool properties toolbar:

II. Apply only one color:

    Click on the icon in the Drawing tools toolbar.

    Select the Color option in the Tool Properties toolbar.

    Click on a needle action in the pattern.
  1. The color of the needle action is selected.
    Now, the color is selected in the Pattern Colors toolbar and you can draw with this color immediately.

With the F6 key the color is adopted on which the cursor is positioned, regardless of which function is selected in the toolbar.

III. Apply module and color:

    Click the icon from the Drawing tools toolbar.

    Select the Color and Module option in the Tool Properties toolbar.

    Click on a module in the pattern.
  1. The module hangs on the cursor with its color and can be positioned at any other desired position in the pattern. With the module data toolbar, you can specify how the modules are inserted in the edge area of the selection and which module attributes are adopted in the pattern.

With the F5 + F6 key the module with its color is adopted on which the cursor is positioned, regardless of which function is selected in the toolbar. The module is automatically selected in the module bar.
