Module (Generate from Selection)

A module can be generated from any desired area of a pattern with this function.

I. Switch the copy function from default to with all empty rows:

    Click on the icon next to the icon in the Default toolbar.

    Click on the with all empty rows function in the list.
  1. The copy function is switched from Default to with all empty rows and the icon changes to .

II. Generate a new module from a pattern:

    Select the area in the pattern which is to be saved as a module.

The selection does not need to be rectangular.
In this case transparent areas result.

    Call up the Module / Generate from Selection / Module menu.

    Call-up the Selection / Generate Modules from Selection context menu.

    Click the icon in the Default toolbar.
    -  or  -
    Press the key combination Ctrl + Shift + M.
  1. The module link appears in the Module toolbar under local modules .
    The locale module has an L in the upper left corner.
    The module is named # <Serial Number>.
    At the same time the Module Editor with the module is opened.

The module is not yet saved in the database.
To do this, use the Save in Database function in the module context menu.
