Shape edges / Shape symbols

This function is used to display the shape edges in the symbol view.

With a pattern without shape, a Fully Fashion shape can be loaded with the Open and Position Shape function in the Shape menu and then it can be displayed in the symbol view.

Display the shape data with a shaped pattern:

  1. A pattern with a shape cut-out must be active.
    1
    Click on the and/or icon in the Pattern presentations toolbar.
    -  or  -
    Press the F2 key.
  1. The shaped pattern will be displayed in the Symbol View [Basic with Shape].

The tools from the Shape Symbols toolbar are used to edit the shape in Symbol View [Basic with Shape].
If the cursor is positioned on an icon, the function of the icon is shown in the status line.
The color of the shape edges change in the Shape attributes dialog box.
