Yarn Field Allocation

Open this dialog box with:

The dialog box can be moved. To do this, position the cursor in the dialog box and hold down the center mouse button. The dialog box is moved with the movement of the mouse.

The Yarn field view with the presentation of the yarn fields appears together with the Yarn field allocation dialog box.
When the dialog box is opened, the yarn fields and the yarn carrier fields are automatically determined. Thereby the settings in the Configuration dialog box are taken into account.
In the Yarn field allocation dialog box you can, for example, change the assignment of the yarn fields to the yarn carrier fields and assign a yarn carrier to the yarn carrier fields.

Following technical processing the yarn carrier allocation can still be changed. On the other hand, color changes following technical processing result in an error message when the yarn field view is opened.

In this dialog box you can make settings in the following elements:

Assign the yarn carrier fields with the undefined yarn carriers to the yarn carrier rails.

The buttons of the dialog box:

The modules will be excluded in one area.

In the area below the Yarn Carrier Allocation

Initialize

Recalculate the yarn fields.
The original data will be restored and the Yarn carrier specifications from the Machine attributes dialog (Options tab) will be applied.

The prompt Save the previous yarn fields as no longer used? appears. With this you can save your changes in spite of the recalculation.

: The button is only available before technical processing.
The yarn fields for an allocated Sintral function are calculated as well.

Change Colors

Allocate the yarn carrier color according to the current yarn carrier track.
: After the technical processing, the colors can no longer be changed.

Propose Rail Allocation

Request the calculation of the rail allocation according to given criteria as a proposal.
The Propose Yarn Carrier Allocation dialog box appears.

  • Request a proposed yarn carrier allocation, if you use more than 16 yarn carriers.
  • Generate the yarn carrier fields before you request a proposed yarn carrier allocation.
  • Request a proposed yarn carrier allocation before you adjust settings in the Yarn field allocation dialog box.

OK

Apply changes and close dialog box.

Cancel

Close the dialog box without applying changes (also with Esc).

You can delete the yarn fields with the Ctrl+Alt+F4 key combination.
You call up this function only if the Yarn Field Allocation dialog box does not appear or the calculation fails.

The Yarn field allocation dialog box does not appear.

Call up Yarn Field Allocation dialog box.

The Yarn field allocation dialog box appears with initialized yarn fields.
