YLC reworked
The operating modes of the yarn length control (YLC=Yarn Length Control) were reduced and simplified.
Requirements for new YLC operating modes
- M1plus software version starting with V 5.9
- Machine operating system starting with V 2.8
- Activation via the Configuration dialog box under the menu.
- Settings only in the Setup2 Editor
- Selection and entry in the M1plus via the control column
New modes for YLC
These 4 modes replace the previous 8 modes by these operating modes:

- Determination of correction data
- Production according to the [mm] table (replaces YLC1, YLC7 and YLC8)
- :
- Determination of Masterpiece data
- Production (replaces YLC5 and YLC 6)
- All modes with Sintral commands YLC0 up to YLC8
With the operating mode , the Sintral commands YLC0 up to YLC8 will still be processed. In case these modes are to be entered in the M1plus, enter them as Sintral commands in the control column.
Compatibility of the Setup2 data
- Setup2 data with YLC data can only be read-in in the new Setup2 format V3 in machines with the operating system starting with V2.8.
- MC programs with YLC data are generated with the new Setup2 format V3 starting with the M1plus version V 5.9.
- Setup2 V3 data can be read-in only in machines with the operating system starting with V 2.8.
- MC programs without YLC data are generated with the old format V2 of Setup2 starting with M1plus version 5.9.
- Setup2 V2 data can be read-in in machines with the operating system prior to V2.8 and starting with V 2.8.
- With the deactivated yarn length control, no YLC data are generated, even if such data were previously contained.
