Generate module with limit condition(s)

There are two ways to generate a module with limit condition(s):

Create a new module and insert limit condition(s):

    1
Run the New / Module function in the Module menu.
  1. The New Module dialog box appears.
    2
    Enter a module name.
    -  or  -
Enter the module name later in the dialog box Properties of: <module-name>.

When you enter the module name in the New module dialog box, it appears in all languages. You can also enter the module name later in the Properties of: <module-name> dialog box, in this case it only appears in the selected language.

    3
Enter the number of rows and columns required for the new module.
    4
Select a module from the list field.
    5
Click on the OK button in the New module dialog box.
  1. The Properties of: <module name> dialog box appears.
If no module name has been specified, Properties of noname x appears in the title bar. The x stands for a number which is automatically counted up with each new module. When restarting the program it will restart with 1.
    6
    Enter the module properties.
    7
    Click on the OK button.
  1. The Module Editor appears.
    8
Draw the new module with the needle actions and/or already existent modules.
    9
Enter the module parameters and technical row data.

The transfer rows resulting from the needle actions with start conditions are not saved with the module. Therefore, you should not allocate these rows any parameters. The transfer actions will automatically be inserted when inserting the modules in the pattern and appear in the pattern with it.
The color palette from the Pattern colors toolbar will not be saved with the module either, but only the color number. The color at the time of saving is shown in the picture of the module links. During the later edition of the module in the Module Editor, the color from the currently set color palette is used. Therefore it may happen that the color presentation of modules in the Module Editor and the Modules toolbar differ.

    10
Run the Insert Row for Limit Module function in the Module menu.
  1. A red row is inserted before the first row. This row is referred to as a limit module line. The control columns are also highlighted in red in this row.

If several limit conditions are required for a needle pair, then a new line must be inserted for the limit module for each of these limit conditions.
If the new limit module is to be inserted above an already existing line, this line has to be selected before calling up the Insert Row for Limit Module function.

    11
Run the Module explorer function in the Module menu.
    12
Select the desired limit module in the Module explorer and position it in one of the red rows.

A limit module can be positioned several times next to each other in a limit module line. To do this the symbol from the Drawing tools toolbar is automatically active during the selection of a limit module.
Different limit modules can also be positioned in one limit module line. The limit module line need not be filled over its entire width.

    13
    Close the Module explorer.
    14
Adjust the stitch presentation in the fabric view with the Stitch Display in the Module / Activate Modifying function in the View menu.
With a module in which the stitches are racked, you can adjust the racking of the matches in the fabric view. If the limit conditions have been added to an existing module and the adjustment has already been carried out in the existing module, then this step is no longer necessary here.
    15
Run the Close File function in the File menu.
    -  or  -
Click on the button on the right edge of the title bar.
  1. A window asking whether the module is to be saved in the database appears.
    16
    Click on the Yes button.
  1. A message appears that the module will be saved in the New modules module group
    17
    Click on the OK button.
If you click the No button, the module disappears without being saved in the database.

Create a separate module group for the modules with limit conditions.
Move the new module with limit conditions from the New modules module group to there.
Drag this module group in the module group Favorites (Module toolbar), if the module is to be selectable in the Modules toolbar.
