Generate color jacquard from picture
The generation of a pure color jacquard as a pattern (with start) or as a pattern element (without start) is possible from the Step 2: Color selection or from the Step 3: Jacquard.
In the chapter Load picture and reduce colors the steps necessary for opening are described.
I. Generate color jacquard over full width from Step 1:
- Picture is loaded and displayed in the Step 2: Color Selection dialog box.

- Click on the option field in the Pattern section.

- Set the module tree in the Start section via the list fields and select a module.

Drag an appropriate module from the Modules toolbar or the Module Explorer into the list field
with Drag & Drop. - 3
- If necessary, assign a module in the section for a machine without a comb from the list field
or with Drag & Drop. - 4
- Click on the Finish button.
- The dialog box is closed. A color jacquard with the back from the default settings and with a minimum number of colors per row is formed. With a picture already saved in the picture import, a color jacquard is formed with the saved settings for the back and number of colors.
If the Finish button is not available, then the picture colors will not be shown in the Target colors color table. Press the Color reduction button before.
II. Generate a color jacquard over the entire width with a set back and a minimum number of colors from Step 3:
- Picture is loaded and displayed in the Step 2: Color Selection dialog box.

- Click on the option field in the section.

- Set module for the start and, if necessary, for picking-up after pressing-off.

- Click on the Continue> button.
- The Step 3: Jacquard dialog box appears. In the Jacquard areas table the jacquard back from the Default settings is offered in right column, or the back saved on the picture is offered.
If the Continue> button is not available, then the picture colors will not be shown in the Target colors color table. Press the Color reduction button before.
A picture which is too small can be enlarged accordingly with the functions in the Zoom section.

- For another back, select the module in the list field in the section.

Select individual jacquard areas and select the module in the list field in the section.
- The selected back is immediately allocated to the jacquard areas.
Jacquard areas are selected as follows. Click on the area in the picture or in the Jacquard areas table with the left mouse button and then on the last area while also pressing the Shift key on the keyboard. The selected areas are shown in the table in blue.
The selection is canceled if you activate the checkbox.

- The dialog box is closed. A color jacquard is formed with the set back and a minimum number of colors per row.
III. Generate a color jacquard over the entire width with a set back and a uniform number of colors from Step 3:
- Picture is loaded and is displayed in the Step 1: Color Selection dialog box.

- Click on the option field in the Pattern section.

- Set module for the start and, if necessary, for picking-up after pressing-off.

- Click on the Continue> button.
- The Step 3: Jacquard dialog box appears.

- For a different back, select the module in the list field in the or for selected jacquard areas in the section.
- The selected back is immediately allocated to the jacquard areas.

- The option field for a jacquard with an equal number of colors throughout all jacquard areas.

Select the option field for a jacquard with an equal number of colors over grouped jacquard areas.
Jacquard areas can be grouped as follows. Select the jacquard area to be grouped (see above for procedure) and select the option field. Press the Group button. The number of the grouping is automatically assigned and entered in the Jacquard areas table in the left column.

- The dialog box is closed.
A color jacquard is formed with the set back and uniform number of colors over the entire pattern or over the grouped areas.
The number of colors of the back with the option active or for grouped areas results from the picture row with the most colors. If additional colors are present in the picture, then the colors that only form the back can be replaced.
