Generate the structure / intarsia from the picture
The generation of an intarsia pattern, a structure pattern or a combination of structure and intarsia is possible from the Step 2: Color selection or Step 3: Structure / Intarsia.
A new pattern with or without a start or a pattern element (without start) can be generated from the picture.
In the chapter Load picture and reduce colors the steps necessary for opening are described.
I. Generate pattern from Step 2: Color selection:
- Picture is loaded and displayed in the Step 2: Color Selection dialog box.

- Click on the option button in the section.

- Set the module tree in the section via the list fields and select a module.

Drag an appropriate module from the Modules toolbar or the Module Explorer into the list field
with Drag & Drop. - 3
- If necessary, assign a module in the section for a machine without a comb from the list field
or with Drag & Drop. - 4
- Click on the Finish button.
- The dialog box is closed.
A color pattern is generated with the basic pattern module from the Standard settings. For a picture already saved in the picture import, the modules saved on the picture are inserted.
If the Finish button is not available, then the picture colors will not be shown in the color table. Press the Color reduction button before.
II. Generate a pattern from Step 3: Structure / Intarsia:
- Picture is loaded and displayed in the Step 2: Color Selection dialog box.

- Click on the option button in the section.

- Set module for the start and, if necessary, for picking-up after pressing-off.

- Click on the Continue> button.
- The Step 3: Structure / Intarsia dialog box appears.
If the Finish button is not available, then the picture colors will not be shown in the color table. Press the Color reduction button before.

- Drag an appropriate module with Drag & Drop out of the Modules toolbar or the Module explorer onto a line in the table

- Select colors in the color table, click on the Basic pattern button and select a module in the Basic pattern dialog box.

The module from the list field will be assigned to the colors in the color table .
Drag & Drop is not possible for local modules or modules located in the tab, in the Modules toolbar or in the Module Explorer of Pattern. An error message appears.

- If necessary, adjust the color index in the table. For this purpose, click in the line and enter the value with the keyboard or select the target color and click on a color in the color palette.
- The module will be entered into the pattern with the yarn color. It is entered in its own module color if the field is empty.

- Click on the Finish button.
- The dialog box is closed. A pattern or a pattern element is formed in accordance with the settings. Modules greater than one stitch are positioned in the color surfaces in accordance with the default settings.
Select the colors in the table:

- Position the mouse pointer on the color in the picture display and click on it with the left mouse button.
For additional colors, the selection is added.

Position the mouse pointer on the line in the table and click on it with the left mouse button.
- The color is selected.
You can add or delete selections in combination with the key Ctrl or Shift.
The filling of color areas with modules greater than one stitch is dependent on the module positioning. If the result is to be checked in advance, Step 3 is not ended with the Finish button, but instead it is switched into Step 4 with the Continue> button. Then it is possible to switch back or the pattern is generated from Step 4.
