Elements

The individual elements are managed in the Elements section.
A shape always consists of the element basic shape. Additional elements can be added as desired. Each element is shown with an icon in which the related shape lines from the tables and a center axis (dot-dash line) are shown.

Compose a shape of several elements in order to be able to exchange the elements e.g. for different neck openings quickly.

Make the following settings in the Elements section:

Input field
Name

Enter a name for the shape element.
: The input field is not available when several elements are selected.

Checkbox
Mirrored

With the checkbox activated the entries for the left side are automatically mirrored for the right-hand side. The Right line and Right markings symbols and functions are therefore not available. If the checkbox is activated for an asymmetrical shape, then the entries of the left side are also mirrored.
: The checkbox is not available when several elements are selected.

Input field
Start width

Enter starting width. The value represents the entire width of the start line. It is applied in the table in line 1 cut in half.
: The input field is not available when several elements are selected or when several lines are present in a line table.

x-Distance to ...

Input field
Centerline

Enter value for horizontal shifting. A positive value shifts the lines and markings away from the center axis, a negative value toward the center axis.
: The input field is not available when several elements are selected.

: The input field is also available for the Markings table. All the markings are shifted to the left or right by the entered value.

Centerline of the basic shape

Enter value for horizontal shifting. The complete shape element will be displaced in relation to the center axis of the basic shape.
: The input field is not available when several elements are selected.

y-Distance to ...

Option field and input field
Base line

Enter value for vertical shifting. A positive value shifts the lines and markings away from the base line, a negative value toward the base line.
: The input field is not available if several elements are selected, or if several elements have docking points.
Use this possibility, for example, to move an element with the neck opening upward within the basic shape.

: The input field is also available for the Markings table. All the markings are shifted to the top or bottom by the entered value.

Option field and input field
End line

Enter value for vertical shifting. A positive value shifts the lines and markings away from the end line, a negative value toward the end line.
: The input field is not available if several elements are selected, or if several elements have docking points.
Use this possibility, for example, to move an element with the neck opening upward within the basic shape.

List field
Distance of Shape Halves

Specify number of columns that is to be additionally inserted in the pattern in the center between the shape halves. The list field is only available for the basic shape element.

: With this setting you can, for example, start the V-neck with a different width. However, note that this increases the value of the pattern width.
