Sintral Editor (UltraEdit-32)

UltraEdit-32 is an editor for editing files in the text format.
The editor is started within the M1plus with the following functions:

The MC Program / Extract MC Program... function is used to write the knitting program data of the active pattern.

The MC Program / Display MC Program / Sintral function is used to load it write-protected in the text editor . Every new file you load is displayed in a separate register card.

The editor is also started from the following programs:

In the Editor, you can load and edit other files by using the Open function in the File menu.
The Text Editor has an automatic function for numbering rows.
You can start the Sintral Check for CMS knitting programs and the CMT-Syntax Check for CMT 211 knitting program in the editor.

You can open the pocketcard with the Sintral and direct commands for CMS machines as online help via the Sintral Pocketcard function in the Help menu.

I. Automatically number the lines for a changed knitting program (<name>.sin):

    Enable Column mode on/off in the Column menu.
  1. Text markings no longer refer to complete rows, but rather to columns.

The enabled function is displayed with a check mark. Calling up the function again disables it.

    In the knitting program, use the left mouse button to select the numbers of rows that you want to re-number.
  1. The selected columns are marked blue.

    Select Insert number function in the Column menu.
  1. The Insert numbers dialog box appears.

    In the Insert numbers dialog-window, enter the first figure and the increment.

    Click on the OK button.
  1. The rows are numbered according to the settings.

Use the Undo function in the Edit menu to undo the numbering.

II. How to run the Sintral Check for a knitting program (<name>.sin):

  1. The <name>.sin knitting program is open in the Editor.
  2. The Sintral file has not been called-up from an M1plus pattern.

    Call up Sintral Check in the toolbar.

III. How to run a Syntax Check for the CMT 211 (<name>.prg) knitting program:

  1. The <name>.prg knitting program opens in the Editor.
  2. If other files are also open, the knitting program register card will appear in the foreground.

    Call up the CMT Syntax Check function from the Tools menu.
  1. The test program is run and the result is displayed in a separate window.

You will find additional functions for deleting the display, copying to the paste buffer or closing the display window in the context menu of the display window.
Please note that the CMT Syntax Check cannot be used for Sintral files opened in the editor. For Sintral files use the Sintral Check function in the Tools menu.
