Generate a new shape in the shv format:

- Call up the M1plus Shape Editor dialog box via the / menu.

- Generate a new shape via / .
- or -
Click on

- Specify for the new shape under :
- Type of the shape
- Comment
- Stitch Density
- Input format: Lines in mm or inch
The element Basic Shape is automatically displayed as element to be defined at first.

- Name the element.

- Activate or deactivate the checkbox.
Shape / Shape is symmetrical
The shape is asymmetrical

- Specify the total starting width of the shape under .

- Display the Left lines
table and if necessary Right lines

- Insert new lines in the table.
- The Stoll default shape attributes will be allocated automatically to the newly created line.

- Enter the values for the shape in the Height mm and Width mm columns.
- The mm values will be converted internally to stitches based on the stitch density.
Residual positive or negative values will result in the width or in the height when converting.
- Values marked with red correspond to a negative value.
You have to correct the values. - Values marked with blue correspond to a positive value.

- Enter the end line (green) at the end of the shape with the
button. - 11
- Save the shape via the / or menu.
- The shape will be saved in the shv format.
