Possibilities to Modify Protection Rows

I. Drawing-in the protection rows manually:

    Cut-out the shape with the button in the Steps of Processing toolbar.

    Select the last row at the end of the shape and insert two rows.

    Draw-in the protection rows manually with the motif color in 1x1 knitting technique into the inserted rows.

A separation thread can be drawn-in additionally at the left and at the right, if necessary.

    Expand the pattern with the button of the Steps of Processing toolbar.
  1. Extra protection rows are automatically inserted due to the specifications in the Configuration dialog box.

These can be deactivated in the Pattern parameters / Configuration / Knitting zones / Special fabric pieces.

II. Settings in the Yarn field allocation dialog box when using a drawthread:

    Put the yarn carrier with the draw thread on to a lower track number than the yarn carriers of the pattern.
  1. The draw thread can easily be pulled out.
