Draw basic pattern

I. Draw the motif:

    With the #31 yarn color draw-in in the entire pattern field the interlock basic structure with the Front stitch without transfer and Back stitch without transfer needle actions.

    Open the Plating dialog box with .

    In the first column select any yarn carrier color of the table and enter it.

    Position the cursor in the area of the columns of the dialog box and call up the menu with the right mouse button.

    In the table select the Q weft yarn and allocate it to the entered yarn carrier color with the LMB.

    In the second column enter any other desired yarn carrier color.
  1. A P1 plating color is generated.

    Select the P1 plating color in the Plating dialog box and in the basic pattern draw areas with this color.
  1. In these areas the weft yarn carrier Q will run before the system and the second yarn carrier in the system will knit the interlock basic structure.

In order to achieve a better yarn insertion of the weft yarn when enclosing, it is also possible to use the knitting specification Knitting via split curve. For that purpose, in the system function control column the entry

Stitch via split curve is to be inserted.
