Define cycles for length control

I. Generate cycles:

  1. The basic pattern is loaded.

    Select rows, which are to build a cycle.

The height of a cycle has to contain a repeatable rhythm of knitting.

    Call up the Cycles dialog box with the Pattern Parameters / Cycles... menu.

    Press the key combination Ctrl + R.
  1. The Cycles dialog box is opened.

    Make settings in the Cycles dialog box.
  1. The option Row is automatically specified under Cycle and Cycle is specified under Behavior in the selection list.

    Specify a name (designation) for the cycle.

    Enter settings for Min:, Max: and Default.

    Select settings for RS (cycle counter).

    Click on the Apply key.
  1. The cycle mark will be entered in the symbol view.

    Open the Cycle table via Display cycles >>.
  1. All cycles of the pattern are listed.

    Close the window.

    Delete the selection with .

II. Generate a nested cycle:

A cycle may contain further cycles. As a result, the cycles are nested in one another.

    Select rows and allocate additional cycles.
