Length compensation body
The longer sleeve compared to the body is characteristic for the saddle shoulder. This length difference is compensated via "Suspending body". This way, in the sleeve there can be knitted more rows than in the body.
- Saddle (sleeve) to the shoulder (body) in the 2:1 ratio
- Saddle (sleeve) to the shoulder (body) in the 3:1 ratio
In both cases the saddle shoulder can be combined with the shape elements neck gore, opening or neckline.
The sequence saddle shoulder must start at the same height in the sleeve and the body.
