How to Use a Private Module of M1plus

How to copy a private module of the M1plus to the GKS clipboard:

  1. Select a private module in the Module Explorer of the M1plus or in the Module toolbar.
  1. Call up the As module reference for GKS-> Clipboard context menu.
  • The following information from the module are copied to the clipboard to be transferred to the GKS.
  • Module ID, an unambiguous (GUID) identification number
  • Modul-Name, descriptive name in the current language
  • Size of the module
  • Preview image of the module

Rework due to data loss

The modules of the M1plus are entered, saved and transferred as placeholders only within the dimensioned shape.
The knitting technique information is directly taken out of the M1plus Module Database only when the pattern is created on the M1plus.

The private modules from the M1plus must be available in the module database when creating the pattern.

Export private modules from the M1plus and pass them on with the GKS shape file.

How to insert a module of the M1plus from the clipboard directly in the shape file:

  • The private module of the M1plus is in the clipboard.
  • The icon for pasting appears at all edit boxes for knitting elements.
  1. Click on the icon for pasting at the desired position.
  • The following information from the clipboard are transferred to the picklist:
  • Module ID, an unambiguous identification number (GUID)
  • Module name, descriptive name in the current language
  • Size of the module
  • Preview image of the module
  1. Keep the new entry in the edit box to use this M1plus module reference as placeholder at this position.
  • The M1plus module reference is also available as placeholder for all other shape files.
