For what purpose do you use formulas?

• For dimensions depending on other dimensions:

• Marking for remaining narrowing to Width at End of Sleeve

• Cast-off width in the neck to Neck Width
  Create a Formula for the Cast-off Width at the Front and Rear neck

• Height of the armhole narrowing to Chest Width and Shoulder Width
  Create a Formula for the Height of the Armhole Narrowing

• Formulas are assigned to such default dimensions by the templates:

• Marking for remaining narrowing = [Width at End of Sleeve]/2

• Cast-off width in the neck = [Neck Width]*0.35

• Height of the armhole narrowing = ([Chest Width]-[Shoulder Width])/2*1.35

• Dependent dimensions remain adjusted:

• In case of shape adjustments changing the length values of independent dimensions is sufficient.

• In case of absolute grading entering the differences for independent dimensions is sufficient.

Alternative to Formulas

You can combine measures with one of the following factors ¼, 1/3, ½, 2/3, ¾, 1, 2, 3 in order to set a dimensioning in relation to another dimensioning.
