Control Views

with the options
With this functions you can generate a Control View of the visible detail , of the selected rows or of the entire pattern .
With it you can check the result of expanding in advance.

Function

Meaning

Visible detail (control view)

Expand the visible area of the pattern for control.

Selection (control)

Expand the selected rows for control.

Pattern (control)

Expand the entire pattern for control.

Options of Control View

Expand CA without folded-in sleeves, modules not expanded

In the folded-out state only the Color Arrangements are expanded, not the modules.

with k&w only

Cut-out only, modules not expanded

The shape will be calculated.
The area outside the shape gets the Outside Shape symbol.
All shape attributes will be entered.

Functions within the Control View:

Call-up the the Cancel write protection temporarily function in the context menu in order to use these functions.

You can specify the kind of the Control View in the Load tab of the Tools dialog box:

Resolve the modules and arrangements in the selected area:

Preview only for reviewing

  1. Basic pattern or shaped pattern is loaded.

    Select the desired rows.
    2
    Click the icon in Control view toolbar.
  1. The modules and arrangements will be expanded in the selection.
    No rule of the technical processing will be executed.
    The expanded pattern will be displayed in the Control view.
    The pattern is not converted into the pattern state of an expanded pattern.
    The result will not be saved.

You can save the result as a module.
You can expand a selected area as often as you want.
With the icon you can expand the entire pattern for preview.

Expand the modules and arrangements in the selected area of a k&w pattern:

  1. K&w pattern is loaded.
  2. A k&w shape is opened and positioned.

    k&w display with narrowing in the Pattern Presentation k&w toolbar is active.

    Select the desired rows.

    Click the icon in Control view toolbar.
  1. The modules and arrangements will be resolved in the selected pattern.
    No rule of the technical processing will be executed.
    The expanded pattern will be displayed in the Control view
    The pattern is not converted into the pattern state of an expanded pattern.
    The result will not be saved.
